Excellence in Training
Excellence in Training is a philosophy focused on developing competent, confident, professional law enforcement officers through the pursuit of personal excellence. This innovative and thought provoking presentation has been developed specifically for law enforcement trainers and is designed to provide simple, proven strategies to enhance the manner in which training is delivered. The program focuses on delivery rather than content. By implementing even a few of these simple, effective strategies (at little or no cost) trainers can enhance the competence and confidence of their officers, reduce remedial training sessions and help officers to ‘get it’.
The topics and strategies addressed during the presentation include:
· The W.I.N. Philosophy
· Understanding the roles, responsibilities and programming of the mind
· Methods to harness the power of the mind.
· Beyond Survival, Training to Win.
· The impact of language on mental programming
· The influence of expectations on training outcomes.
· The importance of training with imagination and emotion.
· Achieving the greatest benefit from videos in training.
· Conducting effective debriefings which result in positive changes in behavior.
· The power of story, modeling and images.
