Victor not Victim
7 Steps to Turn Bumps in the Road of Life
Into Endless Opportunities to Summit the Highest Peaks
By Louise Gallagher
In 1996 Louise Gallagher met a man who changed her life forever. 4 years 9 months after their first encounter and 4 years 9 months after her tortuous journey into abuse began, a blue and white police car rolled up and took away the man who’s promise to love her ‘til death do us part’ almost killed her. When she awoke to the harsh reality of life on the other side of his abuse, she had seventy-two cents in her pocket, a few clothes and her Golden Retriever. Terrified she would never find herself again, she began the journey into healing as she faced the truth: she was a victim of abuse – a state of being she never thought would happen to her.
In Victor not Victim, Louise shares her journey through abuse into well-being. A mesmerizing story-teller, Louise provides a clear and moving portrait of what can happen when we let go of our values, beliefs and principles and fall on the road of life believing there’s no way out but down. By using her REALITY roadmap, Louise provides seven clear steps anyone can follow to turn defeat into victory and become a Victor not Victim in their life.
